This morning dawned bright and sparkly; there is really nothing more beautiful than a pretty snow. I know there are parts of the Midwest, especially central Kansas, that are really suffering from this snow. I hope they get relief very soon and have all found a place to be safe and warm. I think all our Midwest related fatalities have been vehicle related, so please drive carefully if you have to drive.
I am staying put. I have magazines, books and stitching to keep me happy forever…so I think I can last a day or two without getting cabin fever. I grabbed a potta…a cuppa did not even begin to handle my blog reading this morning. And since I have spent the morning blogging away I want to share with all who read my blog some things to keep you busy…
Jane over at Chilly Hollow (http://chillyhollownp.blogspot.com/) has taken us on a great tour of Woodlawn Needlework Exhibit again this year. Her descriptions are wonderful and she has found great related blogs/websites to help you visualize the work. I will try to remember to be more descriptive next year when I do the NAN (http://www.needleart.org/) tour.
I am such a beginner at this blogging stuff that I do not feel qualified to give out awards but I have no problem suggesting to anyone who reads my blog the places I have been and explored.
Annica’s blog, Fabulous Threads (http://fabthreads.blogspot.com/) gave out Lemonade awards. There are beautiful things to look at here.
And Sharon B at Pin Tangle (http://www.pintangle.com/journal/) always has places to keep your creative juices flowing.
And if you still have any potta left… join Stitching Fingers (http://stitchinfingers.ning.com/) and read what’s going on here.
Okay, I am off to the fireplace and my book and stitching.
