Two more TIF Temari

These are the last two Temari for the January TIF.
    Purple ball is interlocking squares worked around the equator. As the rounds that are stitched a secondary design motif is developed, the diamond. I did not keep track of the Coats and Clark sewing thread. This ball was marked with a S8 using #5 DMC pearl [...]

Sidetracked but productive

Friday I got completely sidetracked. Decided to go with husband and grandson to Hutchinson Kansas and then on to Wichita Kansas to visit friends.
Grandson and husband were on a trip to the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas with the Boy Scouts. Imagine a space museum in the middle of Kansas, but truthfully it was just wonderful!  [...]
